If you would prefer not to be contacted following your quote submission, please email enquiries@af.credit and we will remove your details from our records promptly.
We may share your data with associated companies within the AF Credit group (Bamburgh Finance, Aura Capital), solicitors or valuers instructed as part of the loan process, IT service providers under data processing agreements, and regulators or law enforcement if legally required. We do not sell your data to third parties.
We retain enquiry data for up to 6 years from the date of your last interaction with us, in line with standard financial services record-keeping requirements.

We share personal data only where necessary to progress an enquiry or loan, and never sell it. Recipients may include: credit reference and fraud prevention agencies; valuation providers and RICS surveyors; our solicitors and the borrower's solicitors; HM Land Registry; our funding partners and professional advisers; and IT service providers who host our systems. Where a regulated product may be required, and with your permission, we may pass your details to an FCA-authorised intermediary.
As part of any application, credit checks and property searches will be conducted and may be recorded on your credit file.
We keep enquiry data that does not proceed for up to 2 years. Where a loan completes, we retain the loan file for at least 6 years after redemption, in line with legal, regulatory and limitation-period requirements. AML records are retained for at least 5 years after the end of the business relationship.
Our data is primarily stored and processed in the UK and the European Economic Area. Where a service provider processes data outside the UK/EEA (for example, some website analytics providers), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK-approved standard contractual clauses.
